Be, Do, Think

A simple format to remain focused on what matters:

  • Be
  • Do
  • Think

My vision is to use a dry erase board, and write the above three words down the left hand side.  Each day/week/month (or however you want to do it), write down a couple words to accompany each of the above.  For example:

  • Be OPEN TO OTHERS
  • Do THE LAUNDRY
  • Think I CAN ACHIEVE ANYTHING

This can be simple, or complex.  The goal is to have a daily focus and reminder of who you want to BE, what you want to DO, and how you want to THINK.

I find myself complicating things, and simplifying helps.  Try this exercise out.  Write it in your journal, write it on paper, use a dry erase board, or whatever works for you.  If you give it a try, let me know if you find any value in it.
